The Mets could easily have been swept by the Reds this weekend. They won two of the four games - one in extra innings and one after rallying in the ninth. But this is a different team than even a couple of weeks ago, one that not only rallies to tie the game, as they did in the seventh Sunday and on Wright’s homer in the ninth on Thursday, but then rallies to win. These days, the Mets just keep coming, winning in the tenth after blowing a chance in the ninth. Runners on first and second, one out and Ramon Castro, who has already homered in the game, is at bat. Carlos Beltran, on second base, decides to try to steal third and is thrown out. Castro then singles and Fernando Tatis advances from first to third.
