BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Drug stocks were mixed in early trading Friday as shares of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and Barr Pharmacueticals gained on news they plan to merge. The Amex Pharmaceutical Index edged up 0.3% to 306.3 and the Amex Biotechnology Index eased 0.5% to 798.0.
