South Africa: Exhibition Launched Telling Madiba's Life Story

Posted to the web 17 July 2008 Gabi Khumalo Pretoria Joining the rest of the world in marking former President Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday, the Department of Education officially opened the Nelson Mandela exhibition 'Making the Legacy' on Wednesday. The exhibition, which was developed in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Umlando Productions, highlights key aspects of the life of Mr Mandela. It is based on the Madiba Legacy series, which is a series of eight comic books of eight books telling the stories of Madiba's life, values and work. The series is sponsored by Anglo American and the booklets are distributed in newspapers through Independent Newspapers and to schools.
