By RightMacomb, Section News I had the opportunity to see Senator John McCain's town hall in person today at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren. As one of the 500 people in attendance, I could see how this format has worked so well for Senator McCain as he came back to win in New Hampshire. He is very engaging and energetic with this style of meeting the public. And, this was not an automatically friendly audience. They were 500 employees (mostly engineers and designers) of a company that has had the talk of cutbacks and bankruptcy in the air. The GM employees received an email on Tuesday at about 1 PM to RSVP for the event. The first 500 to RSVP could go. Within just 7 minutes, the RSVP's were done. There was no screening of party affiliation. No screening of questions. No limits on the topics that could be talked...
