Teens arrested over shooting (Newstalk ZB)

Two 17-year-olds have been arrested following a shooting in Christchurch in the early hours of this morning. Police say a firearm was discharged from one moving vehicle at another shortly after midnight in what appears to be a random attack. Detective Sergeant Tony Hill says the bullet went through the windscreen of the car, and somehow missed the four occupants. He says the two arrested men were driving a white 1989 Toyota Corona sedan around the city for some time before the incident, and it is thought they were involved in an altercation with the occupants of a green BMW earlier in the evening. Police are asking those people, and anyone else who saw both cars, to contact police. The two teenagers will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow on firearms...
