Senegalese president appalled by ICC move against Sudanese president

DAKAR, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade has expressed "dismay" following the accusations that have been filed against his Sudanese counterpart Omar el-Bashir by the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to official sources. "I am appalled by what is happening to the Sudanese president," the often outspoken President Wade was quoted as saying by the official Senegalese News Agency on Friday. "But, I am not surprised since I have often discussed this possibility with him and (U.S.) President (George W.) Bush has always proclaimed loud and clear that for the United States that Bashir has committed genocide in Darfur," said President Wade.
