The Rangers manager spoke out on the current state of the wheeling-and-dealing across Europe from his club's pre-season training base in De Lutte. Smith is on the lookout for new players as he seeks to strengthen his squad for the challenges ahead at home and in Europe. But the Ibrox boss insists the days of luring top-class talent has gone due to excessive financial demands.
