They're all No. 1 in our hearts, of course, but here's how some Internet experts have ranked Detroit athletes this week: • The sportingnews.com's War Room scouts like the Lions' receiving corps. They ranked two Lions -- count 'em, two -- on their list of the NFL's top 25 receivers: Roy Williams at No. 20 and Calvin Johnson at 24. And they have Michael Gaines 20th among tight ends -- that list only went 20 deep -- saying he "could flourish in the Lions' more balanced offensive scheme." But the War Room also said Williams' numbers could go down some as Johnson emerges as an elite player. "There is a reason you heard all those Roy Williams trade rumors," it said, touting Johnson.
