The fate of the closure of Dillon Dam Road remains uncertain after a meeting between Denver Water and the Summit County Sheriff's office. Colorado homeland security director Maj. Gen. Mason Whitney facilitated the meeting, which lasted most of the day at the Dillon Police Department. Both sides talked after the meeting and both sides said they were happy with recommendations they came up with. But officials would not say what those recommendations are or if the road will be reopened. The recommendations stemming from the meeting must be approved by the Denver Water Board and Summit County commissioners before they are made public.
