Dierks Bentley Treks to Europe for Concerts After performing concerts in Iowa on Friday and Saturday (July 18-19), Dierks Bentley will return to Europe for a headlining tour with sold-out shows scheduled in England, Ireland, Norway and France. His next U.S. concert date is Aug. 2 at Lollapalooza, the alternative music festival held in downtown Chicago. After this string of dates, he will focus on finishing his next album. "This is definitely the most time I've ever spent making an album," he says. "I started writing for it in December 2006, and I have put these songs through four different studios, countless soundchecks and dressing room strummings, and a couple have even made it into the live show at some point or another.
