Mississippi Contractor Charged with Fraud

Eds: APNewsNow. GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A Gulf Coast contractor has been freed on $10,000 bond after his arrest this week for home repair fraud. The attorney general's office says 48-year-old Anthony Scott Colson of Pass Christian allegedly entered into a contract to perform repairs to a Hurricane Katrina damaged home in Pass Christian. He allegedly received $35,000 but completed less than half of the work he was paid to do.
