SOUTHPORT, England: With the British Open in need of well-above-average story lines to fill all that air and space usually reserved for Tiger Woods, Greg Norman and Camilo Villegas certainly did their parts on Friday. Norman's salad days - wilting under pressure included - were supposed to have been long gone. Villegas, a flashy youngster from the golfing desert of Colombia, is still trying to get his wonder years started. But either man would do quite nicely as a newsworthy Open champion, and by midafternoon on Friday, there they were sharing the yellow-and-black real estate at the top of the Open leader board.
