During a high level meeting in Malta organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Tonio Borg addressed all Maltese Ambassadors settled abroad. “Even though we are small, we can do alliance and proposals to other countries. Our position helps us and is definitely not as a disadvantage” stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Overlaps of duties have led to restructuring taking place within the first few months of a new legislature. Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg also referred to Malta’s input in the EU. “In the EU we have a good representation and we need to think seriously to establish a new EU agency.
