By: THE CANADIAN PRESS TORONTO - The new CEO of Hudson's Bay Co. is Jeffrey Sherman, who has held senior positions at Polo Ralph Lauren, Bloomingdales and other American retailers. The appointment follows a change of ownership at Hudson's Bay Co., which has been bought by the company that owns the upscale Lord & Taylor's department stores, Fortunoff jewellery stores and Creative Design Studios home-decor chain. .Sherman will be responsible for all of Hudson Bay Co.'s banners including the Bay, Zellers, and Home Outfitters stores across Canada. He formerly handled global operations for the Polo retail group, including its stores in the U.S., Europe and Asia and online division.
