Rwanda: First Lady Leads March Against Heart Disease

Posted to the web 14 July 2008 Dan Ngabonziza Gasabo The First Lady, Mrs Jeannette Kagame, has called on members of the Rwanda Heart Foundation to work with other International health bodies in the campaign against heart disease especially among women. Mrs Kagame was speaking yesterday during celebrations to mark the World Heart Disease Day at Amahoro National Stadium in Gasabo District. Led by the First Lady, members of the newly established Rwanda Heart Foundation and other local and foreign officials celebrated the World Heart Day with a "Walk for the Heart" from Amahoro National Stadium to the Kacyiru roundabout and back to the Stadium.
