(5/28 numbers in parentheses) Landrieu (D) 49 (47) Kennedy (R) 44 (44) Given the Presidential poll in Louisiana which showed Obama trailing by twenty points, this is a very promising sign for Sen. Landrieu. The crosstabs give more reason for optimism: Landrieu picks up 83% of the African-American vote but also manages to win 44% of the White vote.
