Barreto sets up Bagan win

Mohun Bagan 3 Chirag United 1 BY OUR CORRESPONDENT KOLKATA July 15: Jose Ramirez Barreto was at it again, changing the complexion of a match completely in favour of Mohun Bagan. Not only did he get an hattrick, incidentally his first in the Calcutta Premier League, but nullified all hopes of Chirag United upsetting Bagan in their second match of the tournament itself. Barreto simply snatched the match away from Chirag who dominated in the initial stages, with his flawless touch and skills. Of the three goals on Tuesday, Barreto created the first chance as well, unleashing an excellent diagonal chip to Ishfaq Ahmed on the left in the 26th minute, Ahmed’s pass bisected the Chirag defence and all Barreto did was net the ball.
