Trio likely to play for AHL team The Carolina Hurricanes re-signed three prospects Monday, agreeing to one-year deals with forwards Pat Dwyer and Joe Jensen and defenseman Mark Flood, all of whom are expected to play for Albany (AHL) this season. Only Jensen, 25, played for the Hurricanes last season, appearing in six games and scoring one goal. Dwyer completed his third full professional season in 2007-08, skating in 59 regular-season games with Carolina's minor-league affiliate in Albany, N.Y. The 25-year-old scored 13 goals and earned 12 assists to rank seventh in scoring last season. Flood, 23, ranked second in scoring among Albany defensemen with 22 points last season, playing in 53 of the 80 regular-season games.
