Bangkokian had planned to raise the feminist flag and comment on what a pity that while Thais missed the live broadcast of the recent crucial matches of Thai tennis player Tamarine Tanasugarn (until the match with Venus Williams), they didn't miss the chance to watch the live broadcast of the Miss Universe pageant. But we decided to change our stance after a Thai beauty queen won the prize for best costume in the Miss Universe pageant yesterday. Our self-proclaimed feminist's heart melted after learning that the winning costume came from a Thai college senior. What great news for Thailand!
