PRESCRIPTOR, the consultancy firm that did the survey, presented its findings during a solemn ceremony in Yaounde, recently.The study states that if the recent plan to increase production in the Alucam Company is extended from 2010, it could add FCFA 500 billion to the country's Gross Domestic Product, GDP. Besides, the number of employees in the company will increase from 2363 as of 2007 to 6746 in 2009.Moreover, the number of people depending on the company directly or indirectly for their livelihood will increase from 11964 to 16.476 in 2013.
