Marc Gasol's Press Conference

Well the worst kept secret in Memphis this year has finally become a reality as Marc Gasol was introduced to the Memphis media today as the newest member of the Grizzlies. My impression of Marc is that he is a lot slimmer than I expected even after hearing how he had really improved his conditioning. I think he looks to be in better shape now than he was playing in Spain. He's very soft spoken and yet you can tell this was a day he had dreamed about for a long time. Marc could have accepted far more lucrative contracts to play in Spain but the desire to be an NBA player overwhelmed the monetary benefits of remaining overseas.
