Funerals set for Festus beating victims

Funeral arrangements for Tom and Jill Estes have been set. A visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchens Mortuary in Florissant. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday also at Hutchens Mortuary followed by burial at Freidens Cemetery in St. Louis. Tom and Jill Estes, both 54 and of Sherwood, Ark. were found beaten to death last week behind a gas station in Festus. Police believe Nicholas Sheley of Sterling, Ill. attacked the couple shortly after they returned to their hotel room in Festus following a graduation party in Florissant.
