Therefore, even as we demand that more heads roll over the Grand Regency Hotel scandal, we must not lose sight of other issues of grave national importance. One of these is that thousands of families across the country are starving, either because of prolonged drought or because heavy rains have washed away crops in their farms. In some parts of Baringo, some families are now eating rats to survive. Yet, when Mr Njeru Githae once said that we should make use of such natural resources we were all outraged.
