Kuwaiti doctors call for public-private cooperation for better healthca

By Khalid Al-Zaid (with photos) SHARM EL-SHEIKH, July 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti physicians and experts participating in the Annual International Conference for Healthcare Management stressed Saturday the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in elevating the standard of healthcare in the Gulf state. Scientific advisor to the conference, Dr. Hamid Hamada, told KUNA that partnership between the public and private sectors would be effective in providing the best health services to the public. Hamada, who is chairman and managing director of a medical company, explained that the conference sent out a clear message that the public sector could not shoulder the responsibilities of healthcare alone.
