Bayern kick off against Hamburg

Bundesliga fixtures are announced Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will kick off the new season against Hamburg. The German Football League presented the new fixture list on Tuesday and fans across the country can now look forward to a thrilling opener between the two traditional rivals on Friday, 15th August. The match also marks the Bundesliga debuts of both coaches with Jurgen Klinsmann facing Martin Jol on the bench. HSV sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer expressed his delight at the opening match, telling Kicker: "We have done well in Munich in the past few years and we want to do just that again. "We want to get a good start to the season and all the more so against Bayern Munich."
