Jeev, who shares the fifth spot with six others, trails leader Ross Fisher of England by five strokes. Jeev's compatriots, Jyoti Randhawa (74) and Shiv Kapur (76) were tied 89th and tied 123rd respectively. SSP Chowrasia's horrendous 11-over 83 had him tied 155th. Jeev had a disappointing start when he stumbled to a first-hole bogey but the Chandigarh-pro made up for it with birdies on the fifth, eighth and ninth to make the turn two-under.
