Posted to the web 1 July 2008 Namibe Eight new members of the government of north-west Namibe province were this Tuesday here sworn in at a ceremony presided over by the local governor, Boavida Neto. These are the heads of Culture, Fisheries, Geology and Mining, Trade, Hotels and Tourism, Martinho Jamba, Isaac Cativa, Maria Eduardo and Alcides Cabral, respectively. José Chavalicwa was appointed as the head of the Former Combatants and War Veterans sector, Desidéria Ndakupapo, Social Welfare Department, António Mitendo, Urbanisation and Territory, and Fernando Manuel in the Registration sector.
