Warrant issued for 23-year-old sought in Lakewood park shootings Lakewood police have identified a man suspected of fatally shooting two men in Springbrook Park during a dispute last weekend. Based on witness interviews, Pierce County prosecutors charged a man who’s known as Gonzalo Garcia with two counts of first-degree murder. The man’s legal name is unknown, deputy prosecutor Ed Murphy said. A warrant was issued for the 23- year-old man’s arrest Friday. Lake- wood police investigators say he could be headed to Southern California or Mexico, said Mike Zaro, the assistant police chief. They’ve notified West Coast law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Border Patrol, about the warrant.
