The 25-year-old from Barcelona was out in 30 and had seven birdies, dropping his only shot at the par-five last with a six. Larrazabal - who won the 10th card at last season's Qualifying School - leads by one from England's Ross Fisher and Northern Ireland's Peter Lawrie. Fisher - second four times already this season - had a bogey-free 65, while Lawrie looked set to join Larrazabal at the top of the leaderboard before also making bogey at the last.
