Woodbury mayor battling cancer

WOODBURY, Minn. -- The mayor of Woodbury is battling prostate cancer. Bill Hargis has been the St. Paul suburb's mayor since 1993. He says he got the news Thursday and will have surgery August seventh to remove his prostate. Hargis says he has an excellent chance of making a full recovery. The 59-year-old Hargis was elected to the City Council in April 1992 and elected mayor in September 1993.
