Kevin Myers' article, 'Cluster bombs are evil, but banning them is pointless' by (Irish Independent, May 15) was not only factually incorrect but also staggeringly misguided in its fundamental premise. As former soldiers campaigning for this weapon to be banned, we feel compelled to respond.
