Oil has dropped below US$124 a barrel in Asia on profit-taking after hitting another trading record in the previous session. By midday Tuesday in Singapore, light, sweet crude for June delivery had fallen 70 cents to US$123.53 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
