Air India employees begin strike despite stern warning

New Delhi/Mumbai, July 03, 2009 Air India authorities have on Friday warned the employees asking them to refrain from participating in strike. The notice says the staff members participating in strike would face pay cut. Air India's employees on Thursday decided to boycott work for two hours on Friday to protest delay in salary payment. The management warned them of "firm" action if such a situation arose.
