Pure Electric Vehicle (PEV) sounds like just the thing for a world anxious about global warming. Albert Lam of Detroit Electric Holdings has no doubt his company’s PEVs in partnership with Proton will change the world. He was hailed as the Henry Ford of the new millennium when he signed a contract with Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd (Proton) in Kuala Lumpur this March 30 to mass produce the world’s first affordable and practical Pure Electric Vehicle (PEV).
