Bucks to assist St. Bens with community meal

The Milwaukee Bucks are teaming up with Palermo’s Pizza, Hunger Task Force and others to provide a balanced meal to the less fortunate in community. The Bucks and Palermo’s Pizza will provide dinner for nearly 500 guests at St. Benedict the Moor Community Meal Program in downtown Milwaukee tomorrow, October 27. Bucks players Charlie Bell, Dan Gadzuric, Brandon Jennings and Jodie Meeks, along with team mascot Bango, the Energee! Dance Team and Bucks staff, will be on hand to help serve the meal and greet the guests. The event, which takes place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., will be held at 1027 N. 9th St. Palermo’s will donate the pizzas, which will be served by employees of Palermo’s and the Bucks.
