Foxes boss admits there is still work to be done on midfielder deal Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson insists the bid to sign Edgar Davids is not a publicity stunt, but admits there is still a long way to go before the Dutch midfielder joins the Championship club. The Foxes revealed last week that talks have been opened in an attempt to persuade the former Barcelona and Ajax ace to move to the Walkers Stadium. Davids' representative suggested over the weekend that the 36-year-old, who is currently a free agent, would be interested in linking up with Leicester.
