Customers of the British-based bet shop Betfair Group Ltd. will be able to wager on the Breeders’ Cup World Championships next month, and the Lexington, Ky.-based Breeders’ Cup also will be compensated for other non pari-mutuel bets taken by Betfair, the companies announced Thursday. The agreement will allow Betfair’s 2.5 million customers outside the United States to bet into the common wagering pools for the first time in Breeders’ Cup history. The 26th edition of the Breeders’ Cup is Nov. 6-7 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif.
