Fans warned about Packers-Vikings game ticket scams

Press-Gazette • October 19, 2009 Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings security officials are urging the public to be wary of counterfeit ticket scams in advance of the teams’ Nov. 1 game at Lambeau Field. Jeff Anderson, assistant director of public affairs for the Vikings, said hundreds of fans were defrauded prior to the Packers-Vikings game Oct. 5, having purchased tickets over the Internet or from sellers near the stadium.
