21/10/2009German cleaners strike for minimum wage The strike is aimed mainly at office buildings, administrations and aircraft, while a minimum service is to be maintained in hospital emergency rooms. Berlin -- Staff at German cleaning companies launched an open-ended strike on Tuesday to press for a minimum wage.
