VMIX Reaches Out to Customers of Maven Networks, Offers Easy Migration Path

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- VMIX (www.vmix.com), a leading online video platform provider, today announced a program to offer customers of Maven Networks (www.maven.net) the opportunity to migrate hosting and delivery of their media to the VMIX platform without any transfer or setup fees. The statement came after Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) announced Monday that they will no longer support Maven's video platform and contracts, starting 2010, as reported in TechCrunch and later confirmed by Yahoo! Yahoo! acquired Maven Networks, a player in the video distribution and advertising software arena, in February, 2008.
