Boss keen to erase opening day pain

Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock has called on his Warriors to erase the pain of defeat at Franklin's Gardens - after Worcester were handed an opening trip to Northampton Saints in the Guinness Premiership for the second successive season. Warriors will hit the road in a repeat of the first day of the 2008/09 campaign after the league fixtures were published today (Wednesday).
