'What about my Icesave money?' We answer your questions

Since Icelandic internet bank Icesave went bust last week we have been inundated with questions from savers whose money is trapped. Here, we tackle the most common queries: What has happened to my account? It is frozen. You cannot make any deposits or withdrawals. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is in charge and will deal with compensation claims. So what next? The FSCS is compiling a list of names and addresses of UK Icesave customers. It is hoped this will also include details of how much customers have in their accounts. Once it has this information, it will write to you.
