Posted to the web 13 October 2008 Harare It is very important to evaluate and find out how much knowledge children have on the issues involving child abuse. It is also of importance that they should know how they can access the information. The Police Victim friendly unit officers hold at least four campaigns in schools and churches. In rural areas the headmen are tasked to gather the people around in one place and information on child sexual abuse is given. The VFU officers impart information on the laws guarding against sexual abuse of children, how to report cases of sexual abuse and how to manage after the abuse.
