The sentence, handed down Friday in King County Superior Court at the Regional Justice Center in Kent, comes months after the conviction of 23-year-old Tony Smith, mostly because of a head juror's claim that racism tainted the deliberations. But a judge Friday rejected that assertion, and dispensed with the case that began when the bodies of three people were found shot to death in a Chevy Tahoe along the West Valley Highway in January.
