Simon Church has scored six goals in nine Wales under-21 games England are on the verge of qualifying for the UEFA European Championships as they defeated Wales 3-2 in their first-leg play-off in Cardiff. But Simon Church gave Wales an early lead before Middlesbrough pair David Wheater and Adam Johnson put Stuart Pearce's youngsters in front.
