Pete Vere reports that the American lefty filmmaker Michael Moore, recently spoofed as "Michael Malone" in David Zucker's new comedy/two minutes hate An American Carol, behaved just as his fictional caricature might at an all-candidates debate in Sault Ste. Marie in taking a cheap baseless potshot (and yes, I do recognize the irony of talking about taking cheap potshots at political opponents when discussing AAC) at the riding's Conservative Party candidate: Cameron Ross, a full colonel with the Canadian Forces, was at the debate because local Conservatives nominated him their candidate for the Sault riding.
