Keep kids from smut, prof says By Christine McConville Friday, October 10, 2008 - Updated 10m ago A Boston child-development expert wants the MBTA to remove the provocative advertisements for the movie, “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.” “It’s not appropriate,” said Wheelock College professor Diane Levin, co-author of the book, “So Sexy So Soon: The New Sexualized Childhood and What Parents Can Do to Protect Their Kids,” about the T’s decision to place the ads on the bus shelters that line busy city streets. “It is a public space where parents have no control over what their kids are exposed to,” Levin said.
