West Oahu scored two runs in the ninth inning and held on for the 7-6 victory over North Shore tonight at Waipahu's Hans L'Orange Park. Honu first baseman Chris Carter hit his second home run of the season to put the Honu up 6-5 in the home half of the seventh inning. The Oakland Athletics prospect raised his batting average to .269 with the effort, and came across to score a game-high four times.
