Lynn Henning / The Detroit News DETROIT -- Jeff Jones got the word Thursday morning, a few hours before the Tigers and Tampa Bay were to play an afternoon game at Comerica Park. He knocked on the door of manager Jim Leyland's office and popped in for a conversation that might have been little different from any other pregame chat between the Tigers manager and his bullpen coach.
