Coleman, Klobuchar vote for bailout bill

The aid at one office told me "I have talked to more then 100 people WASHINGTON - Republican Sen. Norm Coleman voted for a $700 billion financial industry bailout coming up in the Senate Wednesday night, arguing that Congress had no choice but to act, and Minnesota's other senator, Democrat Amy Klobuchar, also voted for it. Coleman's DFL challenger, Al Franken, said ahead of the vote that the bill must include steps to guarantee transparency and oversight in the marketplace, but did not say how he would vote on the bill, while Independence Party candidate Dean Barkley said he would "reluctantly" vote for it.
